Q’s Idiosyncrasies: A Broke Looking Bloke

Q is admittedly the least fashionable of the jokers, or rather the most casual and outdoorsy dresser. He loves his shorts and adamantly refuses to let go of the versatile cargo pants.

Basically, his fashion sense can be narrowed down to what is comfortable and “timeless” which is a contrast to the fashion statements of Sal or the often quirky fashion of Murr and his bowties.

His only fashion statements as far as we know are restricted to his hair in the form of the shaggy hair that he lets go on a regular basis, the various hats that wear him, and the occasional ponytail.

Now take all the above and combine it with a bad hair day and unkempt beard and you see why the jokers call him “homeless” while using this to get him to “beg” in challenges if not to tease him that he’s scaring people away.

Notable Episodes

Impractical Jokers Season 2 Episode 18 Sweat the Small Things
Q has to go out with his hat begging for money from each of his art students. This humiliating experience would have been a total failure were it not for one generous guy that finally comes through for Q.

Impractical Jokers Season 3 Episode 13 Jokers Playhouse
Q has come a long way from his shaven looks in the earlier. By season three he spots a beard, and on this episode his ponytail makes a debut. This is as fashionable as Q gets, but the other jokers are having none of it. Q is however unfazed and proceeds to fish for compliments for it, a great deal of which are from his imagination.

Impractical Jokers Season 3 Episode 16 Junk in the Trunk
Q is a janitor and has been kicked out from his comfy residence – the dumpsters. Let’s just say that he looked the part for that challenge, so much so that no one doubted it going by the applause he got from quitting his janitorial duties.

Impractical Jokers Season 3 Episode 29 B-I-N-G-O
Q is borrowing money as usual but ‘lucky’ for him an old friend back from his high-school days working at Blockbusters is the one on the receiving end of a rather ridiculous request for a hundred dollars.

To the utter amazement of an onlooking customer, the friend whips out, and I should add rather clumsily, not one but two hundred dollars and hands it to Q. Now that’s a friend that goes way back and beyond.

Impractical Jokers Season 4 Episode 10 Joke and Dagger
The jokers are at the opening of an art gallery and Q is challenged to borrow five dollars from one of the guests. Q strikes gold as he ends getting a credit card from a guy who clearly had too much wine.

Impractical Jokers Season 4 Episode 22 The Big Uneasy
The jokers are giving horse-and-buggy rides in New Orleans and in Q’s turn, the jokers challenge him to borrow a dollar and shred it into pieces. He does just that and follows the stunt with an emphatic, “Money means nothing to me!”. Shortly afterwards, he abandons the ride cursing.

Impractical Jokers Season 9 Episode 3 Drive, Drive, Drive
Q has aged rather well fashionably and in this episode we get to see the contrast with his former self when the old Q makes a comeback for a presentation challenge.
